November 1, 2022 - Commissioner Tom Bellmyer advises construction on CR 4123 is still in progress. The State is overseeing the bridge replacement on CR 4123 and Bellmyer will let the public know as soon as the contruction is completed.
September 19, 2022 - County Road 4123 located off FM 415 in Shelby County is slated to be under construction for the foreseeable future.
Tom Bellmyer, Commissioner Precinct 4, has announced a portion of the roadway will be closed for bridge replacement for an estimated three months. The bridge is located 1,827 feet from FM 415 at Bear Creek (Bear Bayou) near John Childs chicken farm.
According to Bellmyer, L.S. Equipment out of Henderson are placing their signage Monday, September 19, 2022, and the portion of the roadway to be worked on will be closed Tuesday, September 20, 2022 to begin construction.
Work is expected to be completed sometime in December 2022. CR 4123 has dual access to FM 415 and the other end can be accessed at the old Stockman grocery approximately two miles from the closed end.
