Downtown businesses invite you to come see what deals you may find during the 'Construction Days Sale' November 22nd and November 23rd!
Have you been avoiding the construction on the square? Are you curious about what progress has been made? Do you miss going into your favorite shops? Wait no more - It's time to come and see what's happening!
Invite your friends to join you to see the construction progress and kick off your Christmas shopping season! All of the following merchants are located on streets blocked by construction and traffic to them has been restricted. Show our local businesses we support them during the Construction Days Sale and visit downtown merchants!
Directions are following the map featured below:
- Southern Seasons, 214 Austin Street - From Shelbyville Street turn onto Selma Street between Shelby Savings Bank and Blake Furniture, we are behind the furniture store. Open Friday 9:30 to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm. Also, hosting Holiday Open House on Friday and Saturday, November 15th and 16th!
- Payne & Payne Home N' Suchlike, 105 San Augustine Street - Two way traffic is allowed down San Augustine Street so don't be afraid to take a left off Shelbyville Street. Open Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm.
- Mooney's Emporium, 107 San Augustine Street - Two way traffic is allowed down San Augustine Street so don't be afraid to take a left off Shelbyville Street. Open Friday 10am to 5:00pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm.
- Gatherings, 110 Austin Street - From Nacogdoches Street take a left onto Austin Street to park! Open Friday 10am - 5:00pm and Saturday 10am to 5pm.
- The Balcony, 120 Austin Street - From Nacogdoches Street take a left onto Austin Street to park! Open Friday 10am - 5:30pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm.
- Southern Lemonade, 229 San Augustine - From Nacogdoches Street on the square, turn left onto Houston Street, turn left onto San Augustine Street and the entrance to Southern Lemonade is on the right. Parking for the boutique is off of Houston Street. Open Friday 10am - 5:30pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm.
- Pizzeria, 225 San Augustine Street - From Nacogdoches Street coming from the square, turn left onto Houston Street, turn left onto San Augustine Street, Pizzeria is located on the right. Open Friday and Saturday 11am to 11pm. End your shopping adventure with lunch or dinner at the Pizzeria.
Possible Shopping Route: Meet up with friends at First Baptist Church parking lot, take a left onto Shelbyville Street, next street turn right onto Selma Street, and then right onto Austin Street. The first stop is Southern Seasons which is on the left. Second destination: from Southern Seasons take a right onto Austin Street, left onto Selma Street, and left back onto Shelbyville Street. At the square, with caution take a left onto San Augustine Street around the construction signs - it is two way traffic at this time. Payne & Payne's and Mooney's are located on the left side-by-side. To reach Gatherings and The Balcony, turn left onto the inside lane of Shelbyville Street, turn left onto the inside lane of Nacogdoches Street, and with caution travel around the construction signs to make a left onto Austin Street for parking. Both businesses are on the right. Leaving the square, exit Austin Street with caution and turn left onto Nacogdoches Street, next street turn left onto Houston Street, at San Augustine Street turn left going around the construction signs with caution and both Southern Lemonade and Pizzeria are located on the right. Parking for Southern Lemonade is on Houston Street on the left immediately after crossing over San Augustine Street.
