October 31, 2022 - Hello, my name is Daphne LaRock and I'm excited to announce that I am up for Re-election for the Center ISD School Board.
Early voting began October 24th and will continue through November 4th at the Community House. Election day will be held November 8th.
I am a candidate with integrity, honesty, and experience. Having served the last 8 years, I pledge to continue forward and do my best to make decisions on behalf of Center ISD and our students. These are our children, our community and our future!
I have been married to Danny LaRock for 23 years and we have seven children. I am a graduate of the Center Roughrider Class of 1991 and have lived in the district since 1982.
I have a heart of service for my family, students, faculty, and staff of Center ISD, and for my community. I have a passion for building hope, for helping build a solid future for all children, and for propelling Center ISD students into the best education possible.
For the last 8 years it has been my honor and privilege to work alongside the best faculty, staff, and administration at Center ISD and to be a voice for all of our students. In addition to the hard work and dedication they each exemplify on a daily basis, they each lead by example. I'm proud to serve Center ISD and continue to work alongside each of them everyday to continue the standard for excellence in education for all our students, most especially during recent years of challenges and unprecedented times.
I currently have three children in the Center Independent School District but, in my heart, I have a child in every classroom. It is my hope and prayer that you will exercise your right to VOTE, that will allow your voice to be heard, and that you will demonstrate your integrity in allowing your vote to count.
