May 27, 2026 - Following the meeting of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court held May 27, 2026, representatives with the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter #83 out of Nacogdoches presented a bullet proof vest to Chris Davis, Courthouse Security Officer.
Representatives with the DAV were Commander Christopher P. Borel, and Richard Lundie.
