David’s Daily Devotion for June 5

June 5, 2024 - Good Morning! It's Wednesday, June 5.

It's "Hump Day" for Vacation Bible School at my church, First Baptist Center, Texas. We're halfway through our journey! Anyone who has ever worked in a VBS knows that it's an especially busy time. So, this week I'm letting the Bible speak for itself. No "two cents" from me. Maybe that's something we should do more often. I pray you are blessed and inspired by five more of my favorite scriptures. Let the Word of God speak!

Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

I Peter 5:7 - Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you.

Philippians 1:6 - We are confident in this, that He who began a good work in you, will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

I Peter 2:9 - You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praise of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Philippians 4:19 - And my God shall meet all your needs, according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.

Meet you back here tomorrow,

Bro. David
