David’s Daily Devotion for June 7

June 7, 2023 - Good Morning! It's Wednesday, June 7.

It's "Hump Day" for Vacation Bible School at my church. We're halfway through the journey. Anyone who has ever worked in a VBS knows that it's a busy time. So, this week I'm letting the Bible speak for itself. No "two-cents" from me. Maybe that's something we should do more often. Hope you're blessed and inspired this morning by five more of my favorite scriptures. Let the Word of God speak!

  • Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
  • I Peter 5:7 - Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you.
  • Philippians 1:6 - We are confident in this, that He who began a good work in you, will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
  • I Peter 2:9 - You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praise of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
  • Philippians 4:19 - And my God shall meet all your needs, according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.

Meet you back here tomorrow,
Bro. David
