March 1, 2024 - Good Morning! It's March 1.
Welcome to March, a month that serves as a symbol of newness, of beginnings, of rebirth. Old Man Winter is on his last legs, and the child of Spring is awakening.
Happy Birthday to all the March 1 babies. Here's five from the world of music -

Many theologians believe that there was another very special birth in March. In first century Israel, shepherds didn't move their sheep to open fields until springtime. On December 25, they would have been warm and protected in mangers. And perhaps the reason that there was no room in the inn, was because of all the Passover pilgrims traveling to Jerusalem.
There is a certain symmetry to the thought that the Christ child may have been born in the same month that he fulfilled his destiny on the cross. We cannot know these things for certain, this side of heaven. But we can celebrate new beginnings. We can celebrate a renewed sense of purpose and potential. We can celebrate Spring.
