David's Daily Devotion for May 24

May 24, 2023 - Good Morning! It's Wednesday, May 24.

Today we look at purpose and position. Do you believe that God has a purpose for your life? And does He place you in a position to fulfill that purpose? I believe the Bible tells us that this is so, and it does so through the life stories of its' characters. Today we look at the life of the Apostle Paul.

Paul grew up in the home of a Pharisee, and so he was steeped in all things Jewish, and spoke fluent Aramaic, the language of Jews. But Paul also grew up in a large city filled with the language and culture of Greece. And so, who was better prepared to take this new faith of Christianity to both Jews and Greeks? Not to mention the fact that he was an ambitious, workaholic genius!

God had a purpose for Paul and placed him in a position to fulfill it. Have you thought about what God's purpose is for your life? Perhaps the answer can be found by examining your position. What kind of childhood, education, experiences have you had? What kind of trials have you been through?

Ephesians 2:10 - "We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."

Meet you back here tomorrow,
Bro. David
