I love lists. I love making lists. To-do lists, shopping lists, top-ten lists. Lists of favorite movies, lists of favorite songs, lists of favorite lists! (OK, sometimes it gets a little out-of-hand). Well, we’re just three weeks away from Thanksgiving, so it’s a perfect time to list the things we’re thankful for. Here, off the top of my head, is a list of some of my favorite things... about Autumn.
Foggy mornings
Crunchy leaves underfoot
Sweaters
The Harvest Moon
Crisp, sweet apples
Hot chocolate
Hayrides
Football
Pumpkins
Homemade chili
The first fire in the fireplace
Finally, here’s something we can all agree on. Something to go on all our lists. Something we can all be thankful for.
Psalm 100:5 - “The Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness endures to all generations.”
