On September 29, 1913, German inventor Rudolph Diesel died under mysterious circumstances. Police had many questions. Was it a suicide? A murder? A faked death? I’ve got just one question for you - what did Diesel invent? Easy right? The light bulb! No, not the light bulb - that was a guy named Edison. Diesel gave us the diesel engine. Inventors like to name their inventions after themselves. Which raises the question - why isn’t there anything called an “Edison”? You’d think there would be. Oh well.
