August 21, 2019 - The Deep East Texas Council of Governments is soliciting public review and comment on the proposed changes to the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program’s Administrative Plan. The proposed Administrative Plan will be available for public comments for a period of 45 days beginning Friday, August 9, 2019 and ending on Wednesday, September 25, 2019.
All written comments are be mailed or hand delivered to the following address: Deep East Texas Council of Governments, Attn: Housing Choice Voucher Program, 210 Premier Dr., Jasper, Texas 75951.
The proposed changes to the Administrative Plan for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program is available for review at the Deep East Texas Council of Governments, 210 Premier Dr., Jasper, Texas, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. The proposed plan is also available for review at the Deep East Texas Council of Governments’ Housing Department website, www.dethousing.org.
The DETCOG Housing Advisory Committee will discuss the proposed changes on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center, 126 S Devine Ave, Groveton, Texas.
The Board of Directors Committee for the Deep East Texas Council of Governments will meet on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Family Life Center, 205 W. Wheat, Woodville, Texas to consider adopting proposed changes to the Administrative Plan for the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
