May 15, 2023 - Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) State Troopers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash on FM 711 approximately 1.3 miles from State Highway 7 on Thursday, May 11, 2023.
Units with West Shelby County Volunteer Fire Department were first responders to the scene and diverted traffic until DPS could arrive and until the scene was cleared.
According to Department of Public Safety State Trooper Ashley White, at around 6pm a black 2017 Nissan Altima driven by Aslynne Reyes, 22, of Center was southbound on FM 711 just passed CR 1165.
At that time a 2020 FedEx delivery van driven by Anthony Foreman, 41, of Corrigan was northbound and failed to yield right of way to the Nissan, and the vehicles collided causing damage to both.
No injuries were reported resulting from the crash. Foreman was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way.
