April 14, 2025 - Election day for cities and schools in Shelby County will be May 3, 2025. There are three cities and three schools that will be having an election: City of Joaquin, City of Tenaha, City of Timpson, Joaquin ISD, Shelbyville ISD and Timpson ISD.
Early voting will be from Tuesday, April 22, 2025 through Tuesday, April 29, 2025, only weekdays - no weekends. Election Day will be on Saturday, May 3, 2025. The polling locations will be at the city offices and administration offices of those entities having elections.
