Early Voting Starts Feb 16th, Sample Ballots for Each Precinct

Extended office hours are from 10am until 2pm on Saturday, February 20 and from 12noon until 4pm on Sunday, February 21st.


February 16, 2016 - The Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, March 1, 2016. Early voting starts Tuesday, February 16th and ends Friday, February 26th. Photo identification is currently required for voting in person.

Early voting by personal appearance will be conducted each weekday at the Shelby County Clerk's office, 124 Austin, Street, Center, Texas 75935 between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm beginning February 16th.  Extended office hours are from 10am until 2pm on Saturday, February 20 and from 12noon until 4pm on Sunday, February 21st.

Applications for ballot by mail can be mailed to Jennifer L. Fountain - Shelby County Clerk, P.O. Box 1987, Center, Texas 75935. Application for ballots by mail must be received no later than the close of business on February 19, 2016.
