October 4, 2024 (Photos Coming Soon) - After opening ceremonies on Thursday of the 48th Annual East Texas Poultry Festival, elementary kids took to the stage to entertain the crowd with festival favorites.
The Shelbyville 4th grade students performed a Flashback to the Past with a play list of songs "Jail House Rock," "Rockin' Robin," "Yakety Yak," “Shake, Rattle and Roll,” “Hound Dog,” “Big Girls Don't Cry," "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini," "The Twist," “Rock Around the Clock,” “Rock and Roll is Here to Stay,” “At the Hop,” and "We Go Together."
Shelbyville 4th Grade
The F.L. Moffett students preformed festival favorites as well. Kindergarten students sang "It's a Beautiful Day," the "Chicken" song, the "Chicken Dance Song," and “God Bless the America.”
