April 16, 2018 - The students of Excelsior ISD recently held a "Pennies for Patients" fundraiser to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma society is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding cures for blood cancers. The "Pennies for Patients" program helps fund research for therapies that save the lives of blood cancer patients.
We are very proud of our students at Excelsior Elementary they raised a total of $1,082.10. Mrs. Alyson Porter's 2nd grade class came in 1st place raising $590.70, Mrs. Angie Gillis' 4th grade class came in 2nd place raising $175.13 and Ms. Becky Adkison's Pre-K & Kindergarten class came in 3rd place raising $145.28.
