Excelsior ISD Continues Community Eligibility Program for Free Meals

August 16, 2023 - The Excelsior ISD announces today it will continue its policy to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2023/2024 school year. Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This approach reduces the burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.

Excelsior ISD PreK-4 and Kindergarten Wildcat Round Up

April 12, 2023 - Become a Baby Wildcat on April 17th thru May 12th from 8:00am to 2:30pm. Stop by the school to get an enrollment packet. 

Please bring required documents: Proof of residency (light, gas,  water bill, tax statement or lease agreement), immunization records, child’s social security card, birth certificate, parent’s or legal guardian’s picture id and proof of income.

Children must be 4 years old by September 1st to enroll in Pre-K 4.

Excelsior ISD 2022-2023 School Year School Supplies

June 20, 2022 - In an effort to alleviate some of the stress and expense of purchasing school supplies, Excelsior ISD has decided to purchase every students' basic back-to-school supplies. This service will be for the 2022-2023 school year only.

Parents will be asked to provide their child a backpack.

Nap Mats will be provided for Pre-K and Kindergarten, but students will need to bring a blanket and pillow.

No snacks of any kind will be provided.

The first day of school is Monday, August 22, 2022.
