May 13, 2020 - A send off parade was held Saturday, May 9, 2020, for Angel Pineda in the Center High School parking lot.
Angel Pineda was the radio host for KDET General Store every Saturday and he has gone forth to join the Marines to fulfill his dream. Pineda is the first generation in his family to join the military.
Vanessa Pineda, Angel's mother, on behalf of the Pineda family thanks all who attended. She asked all to please keep their family and son in your thoughts and prayers.
The Pineda Family gives a special thanks to Pastor Jose Alberto Leos for leading them in prayer and to Center ISD Police Chief Pete Low for participating in the parade. She also expressed appreciation to Justin Mott for taking photos.
