May 18, 2024 - Center Police Department Ladies Auxiliary hosted a fish fry fundraiser Saturday, May 18, 2024, in support of Officer Luis Acuna for recent medical expenses he incurred due to emergency surgery.
The Auxiliary, dispatchers, and officers joined in to help this be a succesful event, preparing food and packaging meals.
Community members lined up on the square in Center contributing the much needed funds in support of Acuna and taking home plates of fried fish, french fries and hushpuppies.
