"God Most High" By Mike Mills

May 20, 2019 - “A voice says, “Cry!” And I said, “What shall I cry?”

All flesh is grass, and all its beauty is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades when the breath of the Lord blows on it; surely the people are grass. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” (Isaiah 40:6-8)

These are words given the prophet Isaiah by God Most High that he might tell the people of the greatness of God.

Isaiah goes on to say to the people of Israel, “Behold, the Lord God comes with might, and his arm rules for him; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.” (Isaiah 40:10)

And what is this word recompense, what does it mean that he brings his recompense before him; “ recompense - an equivalent or a return for something done, suffered or given.”

So to bring his recompense means that God will repay, to all, whatever they have done here on earth, whether it is good or evil, whether it is the things one has done or the things one has suffered for the Lord, all will be justly repaid.

A warning for all, no one will get away with bad works, but all things will be brought into the light and paid for as it was done.

For those who have followed the will of the Most High we see a much better result as he says, “He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.” (Isaiah 40:11)

Our Father God will take his own into his arms and hold them close to his chest, making them secure in his love for all time.

It is as our Lord Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.” (Luke 21:33)

There is but one true God, one God Most High and to him all must come for salvation or be lost in the darkness forever.

“Go you not know? Do you not hear? Has it not been told to you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?
It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers;
who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to dwell in;
who brings princes to nothing, and makes the rulers of the earth as emptiness.” (Isaiah 40:21-23)

Isaiah tries with all his might to impress upon all who will listen the power and majesty of the Most High God and Lord of all.

And God says to all through Isaiah, "To whom then will you compare me, that I should be like him? Says the Holy One.” (Isaiah 40:25)

“Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: “I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god.” (Isaiah 44:6)

There is none other under the sun by which man can be saved. Do you know him today, have you accepted our God, God Most High as your own?

I pray that you have, but if you have not, you can do so right now.

Simply say to him, “God, I am a sinner, but I believe in you and I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior right now.

Please, Lord God save me! And, he will!!! May you know him today…
