March 16, 2024 - Hans Polk, a Holocaust survivor will share his story with Timpson Area Genealogy and Heritage Society and guests Wednesday, March 20, at 2PM. Mr. Polk's parents were taken by Nazi soldiers from their home when he was 6 years old. They were executed at Auschwitz. Mr. Polk resides in Timpson and his wife is from a local family.
This is a unique opportunity to hear a first hand account of the horrors of the holocaust, especially since there are efforts to deny it happened.
