Hope Community Medicine Holds Vaccination Clinic at FBC Center

February 4, 2021 - First Baptist Church in Center allowed Hope Community Medicine to host a vaccination clinic Thursday, February 4, 2021 at their gymnasium.

Hope Community Medicine administered COVID-19 vaccinations to those individuals that had appointments for the event.

According to Tracy Cain, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Human Resources, 200 individuals were scheduled for the event in Center and they have others planned in nearby areas right away. There are plans for 200 more vaccinations in San Augustine, 200 in Carthage and 100 in Tenaha.

To facilitate the project in Center there were 19 Panola College nursing students on hand to help check each vaccination candidate in, take their vitals and get them to their vaccine.

Hope Community Medicine staff were pleased with how smoothly the program went.
