March 15, 2025 - Hurst Street at the intersection of Arcadia Road (FM 138) was the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Friday, March 14, 2025.
When Center Police Department Officers arrived at the location, the two pickup trucks involved were in the outside southbound lane of Hurst Street.
According to the Center Police Department, at sometime just before 4:15pm a two-tone colored green 1994 Ford F-150 driven by Cynthia Johnson, 56, of Center failed to control speed and struck the back of a blue 2023 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Joel Graves, 63, of Center.
Johnson was transported by ambulance to the Shelby County Emergency Department for possible injury and she was later released.
No citations were reported issued as of the time of this report.
The crash was investigated by Center Police Department Sgt. Jake Gross and Officer Donna Ruppert.
