Jared Tovar Achieves Dean's List Honors at University of North Texas

December 22, 2021 - Jared Tovar achieved the honor of being listed on the Dean's List of scholars at the University of North Texas (UNT) for the 2021 Fall Semester. He also achieved the same honor for the 2021 Spring Semester.

In a letter received from Marilyn Wiley, Dean of the G. Brint Ryan College of Business at the University of North Texas, it stated, "Please accept my congratulations for achieving at least a 3.5 grade point average for the 2021 Fall semester. In recognition of your outstanding academic achievement, your name has been placed on the Dean's List of scholars at the University of North Texas.

"As a Dean's List scholar, you join a very select group. Only 20% of the G. Brint Ryan College of Business undergraduate students earn this honor. This distinction of high scholarship should be reflected on your resume throughout your career.

"Your accomplishment is one in which you should take great pride. The faculty and administration of the University of North Texas are very gratified by your hard work and dedication. We are all proud of your outstanding performance."

Jared Tovar, Salutatorian for the Class of 2020 and the son of Erika and Jose Tovar, is a current junior at UNT entering his fourth semester this coming Spring. He is pursuing a major in accounting with a specialization in audit and will be interning with KHA Accountants in Flower Mound, TX under the audit department.

Tovar has received his UNT ring for completing more than 60 college credit hours. After receiving his Bachelor’s, he will then go into grad school and focus on taking the CPA exam!
