September 13, 2024 - The Joaquin Economic Development Corporation will meet in special session on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 5:30pm at Joaquin Fire Department, 131 Steve Hughes Drive, Joaquin, Texas.
The following items are on the agenda for appropriate action:
1. Call to Order:
2. Roll Call: To establish a quorum.
3. Discuss and possible action: to appointment to fill seat on the board.
4. Discuss and possible action: to approve previous meetings minutes.
5. Discuss and possible action: on approving financials and pay bills.
6. Discuss and possible action: regarding the use of Type B Economic Development Corporation (EDC) funds for streets and drainage projects, specifically addressing the compliance of funding monthly 1099 contractor payments with Texas Local Government Code and voter-approved purposes.
7. Adjourn.
The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this agenda whenever it is considered necessary and is legally justified under the Open Meetings Act.
