April 11, 2019 - Joaquin Elementary School announces the April Students of the Month.
Pre-Kindergarten - Cerra Adams
Cerra Adams is student of the month because she is a great student and loves helping her teacher. Clara loves cooking and ordering food in the kitchen during centers. When Clara is as home, she loves riding her bike and scooter with her dad She likes going to the grocery store with her mom and loves playing barbies with her big sisters. Cierm also loves hugging and playing with her dog Trixie.
Kindergarten - Alejandro Romero
Alejandro Romero was chosen for the Kindergarten student of the month of April because he always does his best and is very helpful. Alejandro's favorite thing to do is play. His favorite food is cereal. When Alejandro grows up he wants to be a fighter.
First Grade - Erica Galvan
Erica Galvan is First Grade Student of the Month. Erica was chosen as student of the month because she always does what she is told & always ties her hardest Erica is always happy & sweet to everyone. Erica's favorite subject is Math & her favorite color is purple. Erica lows the T.V. show Bunk'd & her favorite movie is A Dog's Purpose. She loves taking gymnastics & playing outside with her friend, Allison Martin. Erica's best friends in class are Madalyn & Makena. Erica's favorite toy is L.O.L dolls.
Second Grade - Lizeth Rodriguez
Lizeth Rodriguez is Second Grade Student of the Month. She was chosen because of her hard work and continuing happy attitude. Lizeth's favorite subject is Reading. She likes to play with her dogs and sister after school. Her favorite color is blue. She loves to watch Frozen. Lizeth enjoys eating spaghetti with meatballs.
Third Grade - Addison Raybon
Hello, My name is Addison Raybon and I have been selected Student of the month for 3rd grade. I am so honored to be chosen for this by my teachers. I love school and my favorite thing about it is that we get to do fin things while learning and that I get to see my friends every day. When I get home from school, I hire to go outside and play with my sister ICinsley and hold my baby sister Skylar. I take piano lessons and love performing at recitals (but they make me nervous). My favorite food is pizza and I love watching tv When I grow up I want to be an artist.
Fourth Grade - Madeline Mullins
Madeline wrote the following about herself:
Hi, my name is Madeline Mullins, and I'm 9 years old. I am originally from Washington State and moved to Joaquin this past June. I like animals a lot. I have one dog, four cats, four goats, and three chickens. My favorite restaurant is What-A-Burger. I like playing basketball, softball, and going swimming. When I grow up, I want to be a veterinarian. My three best friends are Kristy, Summer, and Rilee. I would like to tell others to work hard and always do your best at everything.
Fifth Grade - Mattie Bushiey
The following was written by Mattie Bushiey:
I want to thank all the 5th grade teachers for letting me take place in the Student of the month for April. My favorite subject in school is science and math. My hobbies are hog hunting, staying up late, and playing outside with my step sister Haley Cash. My favorite places to eat are Olive Garden and Chick-Fil-A. When I grow up I want to be a veterinarian because I love and care for animals. I work hard in school to get all A's. Thanks to all the 5th grade teachers for choosing me.
