March 1, 2017 - Joaquin Elementary School announces the Students of the Month for March 2017.
Pre-K Student of the Month for March: Keagan Evans
Keagan likes to play with his dog, Cleo, at home. He likes to play cops on the playground with his friends. Keagan was chosen as student of the month for March because he is very helpful and smart. He has worked very hard on being patient in the classroom.
Kindergarten Student of the Month for March: Bella Bowden
The kindergarten student of the month is Bella Bowden. Bella was chosen because she is so sweet to everyone, she works hard every day, and she always tries her very best! When Bella grows up she wants to be a veterinarian. Her favorite food is mac and cheese, and her favorite toys are all her stuffed animals and her baby doll. She also loves to color!
First Grade Student of the Month for March: Brennan Kilpatrick
Brennan Kilpatrick is in Mrs. Bagleys' room. Brennan is 6 years old. Brennan loves to play outside and dig in the dirt with his brother. His favorite subject is Reading because he likes getting AR points and the books are fun. He loves school because it makes you smart, when you go! Brennan loves church and loves God! Brennan is very dedicated to his work and strives for perfection! He takes pride in all he does, and I am so happy to have Brennan in my classroom!
Second Grade Student of the Month for March: Valeria Ruiz
Valeria loves to play with her baby brother and help take care of him. She likes doing homework and loves eating spaghetti. She also loves going to Lufkin and Nacogdoches to shop and eat. Valeria is a very hard worker and polite. She is helpful in the classroom and strives to do well. Way to go, Valeria!
3rd Grade Student of the Month for March: Keaton Hughes
Keaton wrote the following about herself:
My name is Keaton Hughes. My favorite class is math. I have two brothers and one sister. My sister and I love to play and I love to play softball with her. My favorite food is pepperoni pizza. I love showing cows. My heifer is named Claire and she is a Charolais. As student of the month, I was chosen because I always have a positive attitude and willing to help others.
4th Grade Student of the Month for March is Eli Haynes
Eli is a student who loves to read. He loves to read the Middle School Series books. His favorite food is pizza. He loves to play Madden 17. When he grows up Eli said that he wanted to be an actor. He enjoys baking anything but I hear that he is very good at baking cakes. Eli is a very quiet student and a hard worker. Eli has a silly side if he decides to show it to you. Eli has a little sister that he helps take care of and a brother on the way. He is a member of Student Council.
5th Grade Student of the Month for March: Autumn Webb
Autumn wrote the following about herself:
Hi, my name is Autumn Webb and I am proud to be student of the month. My hobbies include: softball, Beta, GT, FFA, and UIL. After school I like to play outside with my brother and sister and walk my goat for FFA. My friends are Madison, Shelby, Jeanne, Ashley and Harlee. My favorite subject in school is science. On week nights, my brother, my sister, and I go hunting for mice in our chicken pen. I am proud to be a Joaquin Elementary student.
