December 5, 2019 - Joaquin Elementary School congratulates the following students for being selected as the December Students of the Month!
Pre-K Student of the Month: Tania Cruz
Tania Cruz is the Pre-K student of the month because she is helpful, kind, and always tries her hardest. Tania loves playing in the kitchen center with her best friends, Giselle and Kate. She also loves playing with her sister when she gets home from school.
Kindergarten Student of the Month: Ashton Moore
Ashton Moore was chosen as the kindergarten student of the month for December because he does great work and is a great listener. Ashton's favorite thing to do is play on his phone. His favorite food is spaghetti. When he grows up he wants to be a cop.
1st Grade Student of the Month: Easton Hardy
Boston Hardy was chosen as Is! grade student of the month because he is dedicated to his work and he smiles without getting down. He never complains and is a great friend to all. Boston has a contagious smile and personality. He has two brothers and two sisters. At home, he loves to play with his dogs. At school, his favorite thing to do is play with friends. Boston's favorite food is nacho lunchables.
2nd Grade Student of the Month: Madalyn Bryant
The second grade student of the month for December is Madalyn Bryant. Madalyn is 8 years old and has one sister named Kinsey. Madalyn's favorite color is purple and her favorite food is biscuits. Her favorite subjects are Math and Reading, but she also loves recess. Madalyn's favorite thing to do at home is play with her sister. When she grows up, Madalyn wants to be a veterinarian. Madalyn was chosen as student of the month because of the kindness she shows to everyone around her and how hard she works at everything she does.
3rd Grade Student of the Month: Abel Burkhalter
Hello, my name is Abel Burkhalter and I have been chosen as December student of the month for 3rd grade. This is my first year at Joaquin Elementary and so far I like it! My favorite thing about school is PE and Math. When I get home each day I like to play outside. My favorite food is hamburgers. When I grow up, I want to be a football player. Thank you for picking me as student of the month.
4th Grade Student of the Month: Cristhian Martin
My name is Cristhian Martin and I am the fourth grade student of the month! My favorite thing to do is play with my family. Another thing I like is that I get to go hunting. My favorite color is green. My favorite sport is football and my favorite food is tamales.
5th Grade Student of the Month: Emma Parker
Emma Parker was chosen as 5th grade student of the month and wrote the following about herself. My name is Emma Parker. I am 10 years old and in the fifth grade. 1 would like to thank my teachers for choosing me as the December Student of the Month. I love Science class and all the neat labs that we do. I also like SmartFit and Sudoku. A few of my favorite things are YouTube, VSCO girls, tumbling, the color teal, special soup, Six Flags, camping, and spending time with my family. My parents are Clint and Amanda Parker. I have an older sister, Shelby. I have an older brother named Jesse. I have a brother-in-law named, Rope. I have two nieces, Denver and Dalli. Emma was chosen because she always shows kindness to everyone. She also has a willingness to help anyone in need.
