December 18, 2014 - The Joaquin FFA Show Team participated in the Timpson Ag Boosters Livestock Show at the Shelby County Expo Center last Saturday, December 13th. They showed their calves exceptionally well, earning a total of 7 buckles as well as other top honors.
Ethan Wood and his calves had a great showing. They won Grand Champion Simbrah, Grand and Reserve Grand Champion Simmental, and Ethan was chosen as the Junior Showmanship Champion!
Trey Harvey’s Angus won Grand Champion, & they won both Grand and Reserve Grand Champion Red Angus.
Lauren Neal’s Limousins won Grand Champion and 1st in Class.
Abi Hooper came home with buckles for Grand Champion Shorthorn and Grand Champion Beefmaster.
Cralon Hughes was the Champion Intermediate Showman. His Brangus also won a blue 1st Place ribbon.
