December 11, 2016 - Joaquin Masonic Lodge #856 and the Grand Lodge of Texas, represented by RW Clarence Gene Denby, recently honored Bros. George Lee Stevens and Newton Johnson with 50 year service awards.
After a time of food and fellowship we retired to the lodge hall where the meeting was opened by Master Jimmy Wagstaff with prayer and pledges to the United States and Texas flags. These Brothers were then presented with 50 year certificates and lapel pins.
The brethren were given an opportunity to reflect upon their Masonic Career and the visitors allowed to introduce themselves and make comments. The meeting was closed in prayer.
