June 3, 2023 - Jessie Griffith, Joaquin Mayor, thanks those who have helped in the cleanup efforts due to the theft of diesel which took place Thursday, June 1, 2023, on East Saddle Street.
Several entities have worked together to make a bad situation better and he thanks Roy Cheatwood, Constable Precinct 3; Josh Tipton, Constable Precinct 5; Shelby County Sheriff’s Department; Lonestar Hazmat for handling the the cleanup; and Stevie Smith, Commissioner Precinct 3.
