Joaquin VFD Reports of 5 Calls for Week of June 27

July 4, 2022 - Over the week of June 27th to July 3rd the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department responded to 5 calls. Here’s a overview of what transpired.

Starting with Tuesday, June 28th, the JVFD EMRs responded to Cooper Street to a sick call to check out a patient.

Wednesday, June 29th had 3 calls starting at 7:52am with a one vehicle accident on Highway 84 East. The driver of a red car ran off the road and ended up in the ditch among thick brush. No serious injuries were reported.

The next call for Wednesday came in at 12:26pm in regards to a fall patient on County Road 3590. Members of the Joaquin VFD EMR team responded to help the patient up off of the floor.

Lastly at 8:06pm on Wednesday a call came in about an electrical burning smell coming from within the First Pentecostal Church on Highway 7 East. The JVFD responded to find the source of the smell and prevent it from causing a larger fire.

The final call for the week came in at 6:59am Sunday, July 3rd in regards to a stroke patient on County Road 3569. Members of the EMR team responded to assist Allegiance EMS with the patient.
