Library Summer Reading Program "Celebrating Community Helpers"

May 30, 2023 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library will kick off the 2023 Summer Reading/Discovery programs on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. This year’s theme is “Celebrating Community Helpers.” Throughout the months of June and July, the library will host programs every Thursday at 10:30am. We will be celebrating our community workers and have lots of other surprises!

SUMMER READING/DISCOVERY PROGRAMS:

Wednesdays at 10:30 am — Pre-school Story Time (Ages 2-5)
Thursdays at 10:30 am — Discovery Programs (Ages 5-12)

Tuesday, May 30 – (Anytime) Pick-up packets and schedules
Thursday, June 8 – Fire Department
Thursday, June 15 – Police Department
Thursday, June 22 – Meet the Journalist, J. J. Ford (SCT)
Thursday, June 29 – Creature Teacher
Thursday, July 6 – Magician David Wonder
Thursday, July 13 – Texas Traveling Trunk (DRT)

Reading logs may be picked up at the library beginning Tuesday, May 30, and must be completed and returned to the library no later than Friday, July 7th, 2023.

The Summer Reading/Discovery program is sponsored by the Center Noon Lions Club.

Library hours are: Tuesday - Thursday (10am - 6pm); Friday (10am - 5pm); and Saturday (10am - 2pm). The library is located at 619 Tenaha Street, Center, TX 75935.
