Activities This Week at the Library, Upcoming Schedule

October 1, 2024 - Here's what will be happening at the library for the week of October 1-5, 2024, and beyond.

Wednesday, October 2nd:

  • 10:30am - Preschool Storytime
  • 1:00pm - Adult Crafternoons

There will be no activities during the week of October 14-19. The library will be open but we will set up for the book sale in the Redditt Room.

Fall Book Sale! (Sponsored by the Friends of the Library) October 22-26, 2024 during regular library hours!

September 6, 2024 - Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library programs for September 10-14.

Please note there will be no Preschool Storytime on Wednesday, September 11.

  • Wednesday, September 11, 1pm - Adult Crafternoon class
  • Saturday, September 14, 10:30 - Crafts for 6th grade and up

Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library Receives $100,000 Tocker Grant

September 5, 2024 - The Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library is pleased to announce the awarding of the Tocker Foundation Library Transformation Grant in the amount of $100,000. The Tocker Foundation promotes public libraries in communities of 12,000 or less. The Tocker Foundation was established in 1964 to implement the philanthropic interests of Phillip and Olive Tocker. Mr. Tocker was an attorney and built an outdoor advertising business in Waco, TX. In 1993 and 1994, Mr. and Mrs. Tocker endowed the foundation with their estates.
