Library Summer Reading Program Craft for Thursday is "Bottle Animals"

June 26, 2025 - The 2025 Summer Reading/Discovery Program at the Fannie Brown Booth Library continues this Thursday, June 26. Our theme of "Color Our World" will continue with an arts and crafts program entitled "Bottle Animals" starting at 10:30am. Bring your imagination and join the fun as we craft animals from plastic bottles. This program is for ages 6-13 years old.

On Friday, June 27, we will have crafts for children in 4th grade and up at 10:30am.

Library Announces Summer Reading Opening Program

June 3, 2025 - The Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library announces the start of its Summer Reading/Discovery program, "Color Our World,” sponsored by the Center Noon Lions Club.

The program will be held at the library on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 10:30am. It is designed for children aged 5-13 and will last approximately 45 minutes.

Our first program is called "Make a Mask.” Our programs have artistic themes, and each program is at 10:30am on Thursday mornings.

Library Thank You to Supporters of Spring Book Sale

May 22, 2025 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library would like to thank the Shelby County community that purchased books during the recent Friends of the Library Spring book sale. We greatly appreciate your support in our successful book sale. The proceeds help our library purchase new books.

We also thank the Friends of the Library and other volunteers for their help in getting ready for the book sale, as well as working the sale and cleaning up afterwards.

 

Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale

March 27, 2025 - The Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library announces the Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale. The event will begin on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 and continue through Saturday, May 3rd during regular library hours in the library's Redditt Room. Books of all kinds, DVDs, and audiobooks will be available for sale. Hardback books are $1.00, paperback books are 50 cents.
