June 6, 2024 - This Friday, starting at 10:30am on June 7, 2024, the Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library will have craft classes for 6th-grade students through adults. The classes are free.

June 4, 2024 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library will have its first program for the 2024 Summer Reading/Discovery program, "Adventure Begins at Your Library." The program will be on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. The programs are for ages 5-13.
This Thursday, Justin Carpenter with the Texas Parks and Wildlife will bring a program about camping in East Texas and the animals of East Texas you may encounter when in the woods. It will be interesting!
The library's summer reading programs are sponsored by the Center Noon Lions Club.
May 30, 2024 - The 2024 Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library’s Summer Reading and Discovery Program, sponsored by the Center Noon Lions Club, starts soon! The theme is "Adventure Begins at Your Library.”
Each program will be on Thursdays at 10:30am starting June 6, 2024. The programs are for ages 5-13.
On Thursday, May 30, children may pick up information packets and make a name tag at the library. They can come at any time during the day from 10am until 5pm.
May 2, 2024 - Are there any Star Wars fans out there? Saturday will be the last day of the Spring book sale and the Fannie Brown Booth Library will be celebrating Star Wars Day this Saturday, May 4, 2024, beginning at 10am. Come check out a Star Wars book or movie and relive the adventure!
A limited number of Star Wars Comic books will be given away. First come, first served. Only one per person.
Also, kids can take home a Star Wars craft as long as supplies last. Again, only one per person.
April 30, 2024 - The Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library in Center will be having its Spring Book Sale beginning Tuesday, April 30, and continuing through Saturday, May 4 in the Redditt Room of the library. The sale will begin at 10am daily and continue during regular library hours. Hardback books will cost $1, and paperbacks will cost 50 cents.
February 7, 2024 - The first "Take Your Child to the Library Day" at the Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library on Saturday, February 3 was a great success in spite of the rainy weather.
