December 20, 2023 - The Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library would like to inform the public of our holiday hours.

The Library will close at 2pm on Friday, December 22, will be closed on Saturday, December 23 through Tuesday, December 26th, and will reopen on Wednesday, December 27, at 10am.

The library will close on Friday, December 29 at 2pm, remain closed December 30 through January 1st, and reopen on January 2nd at 10am.

September 21, 2023 - The Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library “Friends of the Library” will be having the Fall Book Sale starting Tuesday through Saturday, October 24-28, 2023. The sale will be during regular operating hours, Tuesday through Thursday, 10 until 6; Friday 10 until 5 and Saturday 10 until 2. Proceeds from the book sale go towards purchasing new books.

May 30, 2023 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library will kick off the 2023 Summer Reading/Discovery programs on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. This year’s theme is “Celebrating Community Helpers.” Throughout the months of June and July, the library will host programs every Thursday at 10:30am. We will be celebrating our community workers and have lots of other surprises!

SUMMER READING/DISCOVERY PROGRAMS:

Wednesdays at 10:30 am — Pre-school Story Time (Ages 2-5)
Thursdays at 10:30 am — Discovery Programs (Ages 5-12)

ApriI 23, 2018 - Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University classes will be offered at Sassy Red's Bakery, 1000 Tenaha Street in Center, Tx starting Tuesday, May 1st at 7pm.

This is a 9 week course which will be held every Tuesday evening.The classes are sponsored by Heritage Baptist Church and there is no charge to attend.
