Local Officials Release COVID-19 Update: 9 New Cases, 2 New Deaths

June 11, 2020 - The Shelby County Emergency Management office reports as of 8:17am on Thursday, June 11, 2020, TxDSHS has reported 9 new cases for a total of 225 cumulative cases of COVID-19. The state also reported 2 new deaths for a total of 8 deaths. Recoveries remain at 103 and the county now has 114 active cases.

DSHS also reports of the 225 cumulative cases, 35 of those cases are "lost to follow" which means DSHS has not been able to contact them to follow up on their recovery.
