Loop 500, SH7 East Scene of Two-Vehicle Crash

March 9, 2022 - State Highway 7 (SH7) East at the intersection of Loop 500 was the scene of a two-vehicle crash Wednesday, March 9, 2022, involving a truck-tractor and a pickup truck.

When Center Police Officers arrived at the scene, both vehicles were safely off the roadway.

According to Center Police Officer Brian Wright, at around 8:51am a white 2013 Ford F-150 driven by Justin Barr, 34, from Joaquin was westbound on SH7. As the Ford approached Loop 500, a grey 2016 International LF687 truck-tractor owned by Clarksville Refrigerated Lines LLC and driven by Joshua Andrews, 42, of Garland, Ark. attempted to enter SH7 traveling southbound and failed to yield right of way to the Ford.

The Ford was unable to avoid colliding with the International and collided with the left rear wheel of the truck-tractor, causing damage to both vehicles.

No injuries were reported as a reusult of the crash incident and no citations were issued.
