Mansfield Presents A Soldier's Life: The Men & Women in the Ranks

March 2, 2016 - On Saturday, March 5, Mansfield State Historic Site will host programs in honor of Women’s History Month. At 1 p.m., a living history program on the life of the common and “uncommon” soldier will be conducted in front of the museum. This program will center on the typical uniform and equipage that the soldiers would have carried and utilized, ranging from not only their military gear, but also personal items which allowed them to occupy their minds and remind them of those back home.

Her program entitled:  Forbidden, Hidden, and Forgotten:  Women Soldiers at Mansfield will begin at 2 p.m. inside the museum.

The fee to attend this presentation is $4 per person age 4-61; $2 for seniors 62 and over; free for children 3 and under.
