March 13, 2017 - (Flyer) - The Nacogdoches Beef Committee met and discussed how to support beef producers victims affected by the wildfires in the Texas Panhandle area. Members of the committee would like to gather donated hay and send out to supply points for fellow Beef Producers that have been affected/burned out by wildfires.
If you have left over hay that you would be willing to donate to these producers please contact the office of Ricky Thompson, M.S. County Extension Agent with your name, phone number and number of rolls of hay you can donate. We will compile this list and organize the process to shipping hay out to the disaster victims. Each entity listed for donations will be a 501c3 non-profit and will be provided a receipt for tax deductible donations. If you have means or resources for transportation this will be needed as well.
