NWS Issues Severe Thunderstorm Warning Until Noon

June 8, 2021 - At 11:15am on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, the National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until noon. At 11:14 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Pinehill to near Garrison to Nacogdoches, moving east at 35 mph. Radar indicated 60 mph winds gusts which can cause damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning is for Southern Panola County in northeastern Texas, Southeastern Rusk County in northeastern Texas, Northern Nacogdoches County in eastern Texas, Western Shelby County in eastern Texas, Northwestern San Augustine County in eastern Texas, and Southeastern Cherokee County in northeastern Texas.

Locations impacted include... Nacogdoches, Carthage, Center, Tenaha, Timpson, Garrison, Melrose, Pinehill, Martinsville, Minden, Trawick, Appleby, Mount Enterprise, Gary City, Chapman, Jericho, Stockman, Lawsonville, Fairplay and Arcadia.
