December 17, 2019 - St. Therese Catholic Church in Center had their annual Lady of Guadalupe Procession Sunday, December 8, 2019.
Before the procession began, participant gathered on the Center square where prayer was given previous to the beginning of the procession.
Once the procession began, it traveled off the square down Nacogdoches Street to Wheeler Avenue to Hurst Street. The procession was escorted for safety by the Center Police Department the whole distance of their trip, and especially at Hurst Street which was the widest roadway the procession crossed.
The journey continued for the parade until it came to its destination at the St. Therese Catholic Church located on FM 2974.
