Panola Offering New Classes: CPR, Grant Research, Board Basics

July 10, 2015 - Panola College announces the following classes:

CPR Classes
The Panola College Workforce & Continuing Education office is offering a variety of CPR courses. There are currently several dates to choose from for BLS for Healthcare Provider, Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED and Heartsaver CPR/AED. Classes can also be tailored to a specific need, group or business and set up upon request if there is sufficient enrollment. The cost for enrollment is $65 per person. Internet Non-Profit Grant Research Seminar
The Panola College Workforce and Continuing Education office is now offering an Internet Non-profit Grant Research Seminar. This class is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Class time begins at 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Merle Glass building on the Carthage Campus. The cost of the class is $100 and preregistration is required. This seminar will help participants gain a better understanding of the cyber approach to answering “Where’s the money?” and how to find information needed to prepare grant-winning problem statements. Board Basics Seminar
The Panola College Workforce and Continuing Education office is now offering a Board Basics Seminar. This class is scheduled for Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Class time begins at 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Merle Glass building on the Carthage Campus. The cost of the class is $100 and preregistration is required. This seminar will provide participants with board training concerning governance for a healthy, productive, and sustainable nonprofit agency.
