August 29, 2023 - Why did the chicken cross the road? To run in the 2023 East Texas Poultry Festival Chicken Trot, sponsored by Axley & Rode on October 7th at Portacool Park. New this year is a 1K Fun Run which will start at 7:30am. The 5K Chicken Trot will start at 8:00am. It is always a fun event, with proceeds going to Cultivate Mental Health. Register now, and join the fun!
The Early Bird Registration fee for the 5K is $25 and $15 for the 1K Fun Run, if you register before September 1st. Registration after September 1st will be $30 and $20. Registration includes a tee shirt and an entrance button to the 47th Annual East Texas Poultry Festival, good for all three days. You can register on runsignup.com or contact the Chamber of Commerce.
