October 4, 2022 - Only days left until the 46th Annual East Texas Poultry Festival, Sponsored by Farmers State Bank, opens its gates to a weekend of Fun, Entertainment, Arts and Crafts and lots of Food!
The Cutting of Boa will be held on Thursday, October 6th at 10:00 am on the Frances Oates Center Stage! Children from all over the County will keep us entertained for the rest of the day! Look for the rest of the weekend entertainment activities in future updates.
The 5K Chicken Trot and Fun Run, Sponsored by Axley & Rode will be held on Saturday morning, October 5th, at Portacool Park. The Trot starts at 7:30a.m.
The Car Show and Shine, Sponsored by Zack’s Tint Shop will be on the square Saturday morning, 10am until 2:00pm.
The “Wing It” the Chicken wing eating contest, Sponsored by McWilliams & Son. How hot can you go? Find out on Saturday, October 8th at noon First 12 victims to sign up can participate.
The Annual Chicken Clucking Contest begins at 5:00pm, Sponsored by Debrah J. Worsham, DDS.
Great Entertainment is scheduled for the entire weekend. Enjoy the delicious food.
The Creative Arts Show, Photography Show and Quilt Show will be held at First Baptist Church Family Life Center gym. Make sure you stop by and see all the art work.
