Rholes Announces Bid for Re-Election

January 15, 2016 - I am Gary Rholes, your current Shelby County Attorney, and I am seeking re-election in the March 1st Republican Primary.

I graduated from Center High School and attended Panola College, Stephen F. Austin University, and received a bachelors degree from the University of Texas and a degree from the University of Texas Law School. My wife Julie Rholes and I have been married for twenty-three years. We have four children, all of whom attended and graduated from Center High School and three grandchildren.

We are very proud of all of our kids and their spouses. My wife and I attend St. John’s Episcopal Church where I have been elected as a member of the leadership committee. I am also a member of the Board of Directors of the Shelby County Childrens Advocacy Center and serve as the Attorney for Child Protective Services.

My proven record includes the ability to work with law enforcement, County Commissioners, County officials and employees, Child Protective Services and the general public.

I enjoy my job and would like the opportunity to continue to work for Shelby County and all residents.
