Ribbon Cutting Event at Center Floral Introduces New Owners

July 1, 2015 - Center Floral held a ribbon cutting event on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 hosted by the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors.

Meg Camp, Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, introduced new owner Elizabeth Pinkston who then addressed her guests. Pinkston thanked everyone for attending the event and was happy to see many familiar faces.

"This has been one crazy journey. We bought this shop and didn't really know what all we were getting into. From the outside it looked like it was going to be kind of a simple project, it's been a lot of work, but with my family and everybody we've been able to get through it and get it to about where we want it to be. We're just really excited to be here and be able to, you know, have our kids in the shop and work and just help other people be happy," said Pinkston.

The party of excited guests all traveled to the front of the store and gathered for the ribbon cutting. The business features flowers and plants as well as a variety of gift item. It is located at 333 Tenaha Street in Center and can be reached by calling (936) 598-2413.
