November 3, 2015 - Running M Feed, Seed & Tack recently held a ribbon cutting on Friday, October 30, 2015 with members of the Timpson Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC), family and friends welcoming the business.
Paul Smith, TACC President, welcomed the owner of Running M Feed, Seed & Tack, Shelby Milford, to the business community, "We're very proud that you've decided to jump out and do this. We're happy for you, but we're happy for the town, and I want to add that this is the way business I think is supposed to happen, supposed to work. Of course I hate that we lost one feed store, but we're mighty proud that we had somebody else come in and take control and get another one started here in Timpson."
Mayor Debra Pate Smith expressed delight in the new establishment when she stated the city of Timpson is proud to have the business there and hopes it works well for Milford.
Milford said the store carries a variety of animal feeds from Cowtown manufacturer for cattle, and horses, as well as Diamond feed for dogs. The location of the store is 186 U.S. Highway 84 West at the intersection with U.S. Highway 59 and the hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8am to 6pm, Saturday from 7am to 3pm.
