Samford Announces Bid for Re-Election to Tenaha ISD Board of Trustees

April 5, 2016 - My name is Ronny Samford. I would like to ask for Tenaha ISD voters to consider me for one of their votes for Tenaha ISD School Board Trustee. I have previously been elected to this position for three consecutive 3-year terms and have served since May 2007. I’m serving as Board Vice President for this current school year.

I graduated from Tenaha in 1979 and soon after attained technical school certification from Lowry AFB, in Colorado, with 624 classroom hours of training, in the Audio-Visual Media field of training. I still use the education I gained from these schools to this day as a correspondent sports writer for Shelby County Today.

I take pride in the things Tenaha schools have been able to achieve during the time I have been blessed to serve. Our schools have made huge strides forward during this time. I love the fact that the community has shown faith in me to let me help make decisions at the school which my father, wife, sons, brother, extended family and friends all attended and enjoyed.

If re-elected to the board, I pledge to do my very best and to cast my votes with no other agenda except the welfare of the students, employees, families and taxpayers of the district.
